The NFL has a lot of issues, and their players can be savages; but it’s important to remember they’re not all pure evil.
Here’s just one example of Rob Gronkowski trying to lift up the spirits of a high school in Massachusetts.
Medway High had just lost Maddie Lamson, their field hockey team’s goalie, in a car accident last week. They were holding a pep rally prior to their team’s playoff game on Friday night, when Gronk was able to deliver his message.

Many charity endeavors go without notice by the major media simply because they’re not as interesting to the viewing public. Many people know there are kids desperate for help just down the street from their house, but they don’t want to hear about it. But the fact is many of these players are giving what little free-time they have to breathe a little happiness back into a horrible situation.
Whether they’re visiting children in a cancer ward, or sending out viral messages to an entire high school – these acts are not paid for by anyone and come simply out of the kindness of their hearts.
A bittersweet story for sure, but one that deserves to be shared.
