Look at Kevin Durant showing his media savvy.
What better way to take some attention of the ‘Summer of Durant’ and the big free agent sweepstakes, than by placing huge praise upon your start point guard and running mate.
Easy Money Sniper has looked amazing in his return — averaging 29.2 ppg and 6.2 rpg through the first five games of the regular season, yet he called Russell Westbrook the team’s “best player” after the Thunder’s loss to Toronto.
There numbers are on par — with Westbrook actually averaging more rebounds than Durant — while damn averaging a triple-double on the season so far.
It's KD. He's humble. And Westbrook has been crazy good. But it was interesting Durant called RW "our best player" pic.twitter.com/3hw8xtihyi
