Friday, Missouri Tigers head coach Gary Pinkel announced he would step down after 15 seasons due to health reasons. Pinkel was diagnosed with lymphoma in May, and decided this would be his last season.
His team responded by rallying behind their had coach and defeating the BYU Cougars 20-16. The Tigers football team decided to join Pinkel in his post game interview, embracing him with a dance party.

The beginning of the week started with the Tigers football team boycotting playing this Saturday, before former University of Missouri president Tim Wolfe resigned. Then Friday, Pinkel decided to step down after the conclusion of the season.
A long week ends with a nice emotional victory, one that Pinkel will cherish.
