Outgoing FIFA president Sepp Blatter is to remain in hospital until next week after suffering what has been described as a “small emotional breakdown” but his stay will not prevent him from fighting his provisional ban imposed by the ethics committee of world football, his adviser has said.
FIFA has been a burning mess in the World spotlight for most of the year. Being the face of corruption in sports is a heavy burden for FIFA and President Sepp Blatter. Seems like all the stress of the job and fighting the suspension might have gotten to Blatter.
