This past summer, the NFL, also known as the “No Fun League” shut down Tony Romo’s would’ve been fantasy football convention, which would’ve been held in Las Vegas.
Why was it shutdown?
“Players and NFL personnel may not participate in promotional activities or other appearances at or in connection with events that are held at or sponsored by casinos,” an NFL spokesman said to Marvez in an email.
Don’t worry, however, because the convention is back on. The only thing is that it won’t be in Vegas.
The convention will be held in Sadena, California, from July 15-17.
