Well, it looks like Manziel will have to wait a little longer on his starting position because the Browns head coach has denied claims that Manziel will not start this Sunday.
According to Fox Sports, Pettine isn’t sure who is leading the Browns offense Sunday:
Pettine said Monday that he hasn’t decided whether to stick with Austin Davis for this week’s game against San Francisco or go back to Manziel, who was recently benched two games for off-field issues.
Earlier on Monday reports surfaced that the Browns would name Manziel the starter for Sunday’s game against the 49ers.
Manziel was demoted to third string after a video surfaced of him reverting back to his old ways of partying. And it wasn’t the video that upset coaches, it was him lying. Naming who the Browns QB starter shouldn’t be that hard to do considering they are 2-10, why not just try and find a QB and stick with it? Some consistency at leadership and see how he handles the last stretch of the season. The Browns flip-flopping doesn’t do well for the unity of fans or the team.
