This year proved me to that hip-hop is alive and well.
Sure, the mainstream game doesn’t have many lyricists but making good music is way more than just having elite bars.
All in all, music is about the feeling it gives you and with that being said, let’s take a look at the top 10 rappers of 2015.
1. Future – When it comes to consistency, quality and overall appeal, there wasn’t anyone who out shined Future.
The dirty Sprite sipping rock star has a work ethic that very few have, if any.
Future dropped three mixtapes and an album this year, entitled, “DS2”. His two solo tapes were “Beast Mode” and “56 Nights”, which featured songs such as “Lay Up”, “Real Sisters”, “March Madness” and “Trap Ni**as”.
You can name just about any major artist in the game today and there’s a good chance Future has been featured on at least one of their songs.
Future’s peers know that if you want your song to crack off, you must put the Atlanta artist on it, which is part of the reason Drake teamed up with Future on “What A Time To Be Alive”.
