Charles Woodson is a once in a generation type player. We should all appreciate seeing him on the field while we have the opportunity.
Luckily, the Raiders feel the same way, and Offensive Coordinator Bill Musgrave talked on Tuesday about the possibility of using Woodson on offense during his last home game on Thursday against the Chargers.
That’s been in discussions ever since we started the season,” Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave said of the possibility Woodson could see some time at wide receiver before the end of this season. “We may have something up our sleeve. [Thursday against the Chargers] would be a good time to do it.”
“It’s Charles Woodson’s last game at home. Looking to put out a great performance in honor of him.”
Oakland has one more game after Thursday and on paper they are meaningless, but now with the prospect of seeing Woodson on offense, I’ll be watching.
