Dez Bryant has had a very challenging year, he fought the Cowboys much of the summer to get a new contract then he had to get surgery after he got hurt in the foot very early in the season and as a competitor he is known to be, he watched the Cowboys struggle all season likely missing the playoffs one more year.
Jerry Jones was asked the possibility of shutting down the wide receiver for the last three games of the season to avoid any additional injuries and he answered like only Jerry Jones can answer.
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan asked if there are any plans of shutting Dez Bryant down early. "No, not at all. We'll go balls out with Dez."

Jerry Jones on @1053thefan said Cowboys have never tanked since he's been owner. Doesn't plan to start now. The wins "just mean too much."

Jerry Jones has too much pride to give up on the season and the Cowboys are in the NFC East but hopefully his roster will finish the season with no major injuries which was a trend this season.
