He’s come a long way since going Undrafted out of Tiffin University — and while he’s on pace for his first 1,000-yard, 10-touchdown season as a pro — is Chris Ivory a top-five running back.
Ivory, has helped contribute to the Jets’ playoff run, and during a conversation with the Oklahoma Drill, he explained why he’s a top-five running back.
I would definitely put myself in the top five. That’s how I feel. I feel like I see and do a lot of stuff that goes unnoticed, but people that actually watch the games or watch film, I think they are able to see why I feel this way.
Ivory has been the unquestioned lead running back that the Jets need, But I’d be hard pressed to put him in a class that includes Marshawn Lynch, Le’Veon Bell, Adrian Peterson or Jamaal Charles, but he’s right there with that next tier of backs.
