John Cena was on the Today Show to promote his role as a tattooed drug dealer named Pizuzu in the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler comedy “Sisters”. In the middle of the fun and games the topic of Donald Trump and his idea on a Muslim travel ban came up. Asked about what he thought John Cena clearly didn’t approve.
“We know Donald Trump. He’s bold, he’s brash. This is bold and this is brash. I’m with you, I don’t know how it works out. The last time we did anything like it was in World War II and that was one of the more reprehensible acts by the United States of America: “We are the melting pot…except for you”. That does not go along with our DNA. Trump is being Trump. There’s no other way to say it.” – John Cena
Donald Trump is a WWE Hall of Famer and he is not going to like John Cena speaking out against his huge glorious luxurious plan. Seriously, though, Cena put it perfectly without being too harsh. The mere thought is stupid and it’s also just loud noise being thrown out by Donald Trump to try and get some more buzz going. John Cena the wrestler is boring as can be but the actual guy outside the business seems like a decent person. Let’s just get John Cena in the White House. Anything to keep him away from the WWE Title picture.
