Giants’ receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is back from his one-game suspension for his conduct in a week 15 loss to the Carolina Panthers and while it’s unlikely his fiery style of play will continue, his irresponsible actions will not.
Citing a greater responsibility to his team and the kids who look up to him, Beckham Jr. told reporters that’s not how he wants to conduct himself on the field.
And while cooler heads have prevailed in New York after the suspension, it’s too late to save the Giants season may be too late to save head coach Tom Coughlin’s job. The team is 6-9 and will miss the playoffs for the fourth straight season since upending the Patriots in the Superbowl in 2011
