Darelle Revis hasn’t practiced since suffering a concussion on November 22nd and the Jets were able to stay afloat in the AFC wildcard race without him, but if the team hopes to make it to the post season they will need their cover corner.
Head coach Todd Bowles remains optimistic about getting his All-Pro cover man back this weekend.
“If he doesn’t have any setbacks, he’ll progress to the next day [in the protocol],” said Bowles. “He’ll do more [Thursday]. He’ll run around, and if he can do non-contact drills, we’ll see what the progression is from there. If he’s feeling good, he may be able to practice a little bit. If he’s not, he won’t.”
Odell Beckham Jr. ran circles around the Jets secondary last week, so there’s no better time to add a key piece to the secondary.
