Cards Against Humanity, the popular adult party game, made headlines last month with their Black Friday deal where they offered their customers to buy nothing for $5, then announced that the $71,145 that they made from that would be split between the staff. They also had each individual staff member post what they did with it.
This month they are in the headlines again for selling ‘The Eight Sensible Gifts for Hanukkah’ and using that money to buy an original Picasso painting. The 150,000 people who subscribed now have the chance to vote on whether the painting is donated to the Art Institute of Chicago or cut up into 150,000 small pieces and sent out to each subscriber. Voting starts December 26th and you can watch the voting numbers here.
I don’t think it looks good for Picasso and remind to me to get in on the next sweepstakes they hold.
