Greg Hardy was one of the most watched NFL players this season. His offseason and his disingenuous attitude towards added fuel to the fire and the Cowboys were scrutinized for bringing him in.
Jerry Jones continued to defend him saying, everything he does is going to be interpreted negatively and even calling him a leader.
We all knew that Greg Hardy coming into Dallas was going to create tension and it did. Cowboys defensive end, Jeremy Mincey spoke about it on KDFW-TV,
“I hate [that] it happened. You talk about a team that was so close knit and tight, and all of a sudden it was just different,” Mincey said. “I wouldn’t say that he’s the reason for that happening, but sometimes change, sometimes if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. You know what I mean? And sometimes with change, the team is different. Regardless of how great this athlete is and regardless of this and that, if they’re not mentally on the same page, you’re not going to get the same results.”
Greg Hardy is set to be a free agent and it looks like he may not come back but you never know with Jerry Jones in control.
