The Denver Broncos wants to take advantage of home-field advantage by any means this Sunday in the AFC championship game against the New England Patriots. Even if that means keeping Patriots fans away from the Mile High Stadium during the game. The Denver Post reports that Ticketmaster.com will only sell tickets to fans that have a billing address in the Rocky Mountain area:
“Tickets will only be sold to those with a billing address in the Rocky Mountain region, including Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, Utah, western Kansas and Wyoming. Seats range from $100-$360 for reserved tickets and $375-$625 for club seats on Ticketmaster.com.”
Pretty smart move by the Broncos, unless Pats fans have family members in one of those states. In reality dedicated Pats fans are going to somehow find a way to go support their team, while both teams will be focused to point the crowd doesn’t affect them as both teams look to go Santa Clara in February.
