Johhny Manziel is doing his best to get out Cleveland, there were reports that the new head coach Hue Jackson didn’t want him as his quarterback and he might just get his wish granted. Manziel was out in Dallas watching the playoff games drinking and having a good time and as usual fans love capturing the moment.
The Browns by the voice of the executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown said he didn’t see the footage but that didn’t seem to stop him from raising a red flag.
“I haven’t seen them, but I would care about it just because I want all of our guys to represent themselves well and be responsible in terms of their behavior off the field,” Brown told Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. “We want all of our guys to go out and come back in shape and be ready to go. The thing for him obviously is to demonstrate to teammates, to our fans, and to folks in the building that this is going to be the most important thing in his life…That’s the most important thing we can do right now and frankly not get distracted with any one guy, whether it’s Johnny or anyone else,” Brown said. That’s critical for us.”
At this point if the Browns need the distraction connected with Manziel to stop, they know what to do, they need to cut ties with him. Hopefully a fresh start will be also what Manziel needs but we won’t know that until he is out of Cleveland.
