Chandler Jones and the Patriots are getting ready to face the Chiefs in the playoffs but the defensive end is getting some attention due to a mysterious visit at the hospital early Sunday.
Chandler Jones, the brother of UFC fighter Jon Jones, went to the Foxboro police department before being rushed to Norwood Hospital but the cops in a very strange turn refused to disclose what was the nature of the emergency and modified the records of the nature of that emergency call.
It is a little odd that nobody at the police station seems to know what happened on Sunday morning, Foxboro Police Chief Edward T. O’Leary goes even further saying he has no information regarding the incident despite the report showing that there were 5 officers at the police station when Jones showed up and one was dispatched to his home.
“I have no idea,” said O’Leary. “I didn’t talk to the officer. I don’t know whether there was no one else at the home or whether he was asked. I don’t know.”
It’s pretty evident there is something fishy about the situation, they must have a very good reason to go the extra mile to cover up the nature of the emergency. Jones was a full participant at practice yesterday and today so obviously his life is not in danger.
Maybe the police department being Patriots’ fans doesn’t want to bring any distraction this close to a very important playoff game but it will be interesting to see how this story develops.
