Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson released a statement three weeks ago, stating that his future is uncertain as he thinks about potential retirement. He’s in no rush on making the right decision for his future, as Johnson agent Bus Cook says there no timetable on his final decision.

Just caught up with Calvin Johnson's agent, Bus Cook. He said there's still no timetable for Calvin to decide on retirement/playing in 2016

It would be stunning to see the city of Detroit go through the same dilemma they went through when Hall Of Fame running back Barry Sanders retired. If Johnson decides to retire early he would leave 60 million dollars in base salary on the table.
