Houston Texans all-word defensive end J.J. Watt announced Sunday he will need surgery on his groin, according to Drew Dougherty of Texans TV.
JJ Watt will have surgery on Tuesday for his groin. "Been dealing with it for 6 or 7 weeks now."

Watt had to leave Saturday’s 30-0 wild-card loss to the Chiefs in the third quarter, as the nagging groin injury became too much for him to play through.
Watt also played with a broken hand this season as well as other injuries.
