The Oakland Raiders tried to relocate to Los Angeles, but the Rams ended up having their deal fall though instead. With no other immediate option to play anywhere else, the Raiders will try to work out a deal with Oakland to extend their stay for at least one last year.
A meeting is set for Monday via Matt Artz and Rebecca Parr of the Bay Area News Group : “The Raiders and ourselves have agreed to sit down and have discussions about a lease extension,” Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority executive director Scott McKibben recently said.
The Raiders will have a chance to move to L.A. along with Rams if the Chargers decides not to do so. The Chargers have till January 15, 2017 to make a decision.
