The Chicago Bears season finale at home will take on a more serious meaning — after hundreds of protesters gathered outside of Soldier Field to protest.
According to a report from ABC, the protesters planned to gather near Roosevelt and Michigan before marching toward the stadium — calling for Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s resignation and reform within the Chicago Police Department.
It will be the groups fifth consecutive day of demonstration — as they climb towards 16 straight days – the number of times 17-year-old Laquan McDonald was shot by a Chicago police officer in 2014.
