I know I can’t be the only one that thinks some of the best dunkers in the world are non NBA players. We are a few hours away from this years NBA All Star Weekend dunk contest which is headlined by Zack LaVine, who is the 2015 champ but his best competition might be someone who isn’t currently in the NBA.
John Jordan plays for the D-League Raptors 905, he stand only 5’10” and has no issue getting up over the rim.

I would love to see the NBA feature some of the best street ball dunkers during All Star Weekend. If not street ball then maybe some of the more athletic D-Leaguers. We have to remember what sets most NBA players apart from D-League players is their skill, but they all have the athleticism. Some D-Leaguers are where they are today strictly off athleticism. I don’t know about you but i’d like to see John Jordan and Zack LeVine face off. The NBA is partnered with the D-League so this should be easy to make happen.
