The 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was just announced — but the real discussion will center around the man left off the list for most of the night.
Brett Favre, headlines a class that will include — Edward DeBartolo, Kevin Greene, Marvin Harrison, Ken Stabler, Orlando Pace, Dick Stanfel and Tony Dungy.

Favre became the 14th first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback with his vote Saturday night. Favre started a record 297 consecutive games — passing for 71,838 yards and 508 touchdowns.
Harrison and Dungy both earned rings with the Colts alongside Peyton Manning, who will be trying for his second on Sunday in Super Bowl 50.
Harrison ranks third all-time in catches with 1,102, seventh all-time in receiving yards with 15,580 and fifth all-time in touchdowns with 128.
Stabler — the former Oakland Raiders quarterback selected to four Pro Bowls over the course of his career — winning MVP honors in 1974 and leading the Raiders to a 32-14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl XI.
Stabler passed on July 8, 2015 at the age of 69 due to colon cancer.
DeBartolo Jr. was the owner of the 49ers from 1977-2000, building one of the franchise in NFL history. During his run, the 49ers won five Super Bowls.
Pace, the No. 1 overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft — was a seven-time Pro Bowler and member of the 2000s NFL All-Decade team.
Greene played 15 seasons — finishing with 160 sacks — third most behind Bruce Smith (200) and Reggie White (198.)
