The good news is most of the issues of the divorce between Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson has been resolved.
Just one more major hurdle to cross.
It’s the latest development in one of the nastiest breakups in pro sports history — with WNBA players Griner and Glory Johnson finally agreeing on how to divvy up their stuff.
The good news for Brittney … she won’t have to pay spousal support and gets to keep their home in Arizona. But Glory made out pretty well too — according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Griner has agreed to pack and ship several items including:
— Johnson’s wedding dress
— The griddle/grill
— The steamer
— 1 wine cooler
— The Keurig coffee maker
— The juicerBritney also has to cut a check for $25,000 … PLUS she has to cover the $2,326 debt to Kay Jewelers for the cost of her own wedding ring.
Court docs show that Griner and Johnson are still fighting over child support of Johnson’s twin babies.
In the court docs Johnson states that Griner agreed to be the legal father of the twins and she has that in writing. She wants Griner to pay child support because she is the one who pushed the idea of pregnancy and declared in her own words she wanted to be the father according to Johnson.
The couple decided to buy a house and have kids, so they chose a sperm donor – a blond, blue-eyed man whom Glory says Brittney hand-picked – and found a doctor in Phoenix, who then started Glory on IVF.
The two went to appointments together, and Glory has a video on her phone of Brittney referring to herself as ‘dad’ to their future kids.
So, they went to a clinic where Johnson says Griner signed off on all the papers to be legal dad.
Griner contends that she never did any of that and she isn’t sure how Johnson got pregnant. She also implies Johnson may have cheated on her with a man.
Until those details are sorted out legally the divorce won’t be final.
