Any hopes of Kevin Love casually landing in the Boston Celtics laps were just shot down by the teams real GM.
Love — the Cavaliers embattled forward — has had his named mentioned in several potential trades heading towards next Thursdays deadline — but James nixed that in Toronto, according to Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com:
LeBron James was asked about the Kevin Love rumor to Boston. "It's false."

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News broke the report of a potential deal that would send Love to Boston, Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony to the Cavs — with a package of players including Timofey Mozgov going back to the Knicks.
We all know David Griffin is the Cavs GM — but nothing happens without LeBron’s approval — so if he says it’s not happening — we have to assume it’s not unless he’s posturing or has the ability to sway Carmelo Anthony into the 3rd star role.
