Louisville Announces Men’s BBall Punishment For Escort Scandal

Louisville Ban Postseason Escort

The NCAA didn’t have to lay down the hammer on the Louisville men’s basketball team because today the school has levied its own sanctions.

The University of Louisville announced on Friday a self-imposed postseason ban on its men’s basketball team for the 2015-16 campaign after multiple sources told The Courier-Journal that such a decision was coming.

The details of this escort scandal were quite odd and a one-year postseason ban seems a bit light but the fact that the school was proactive will probably save them from further discipline from the NCAA.
