The New York Mets AA affiliate the Birmingham Mets, have unveiled a new promotion starting April 12th based on the popular meme ‘Netflix and Chill.’ This is all well and good except the term ‘Netflix and Chill’ is defined as a couple cuddling up to a nice Netflix movie, then getting busy right after.
I am fairly certain that the Birmingham Mets organization do not want people coming to their stadium with silk robes and Marvin Gaye blasting on Spotify, ready to knock boots during the seventh inning stretch.
I’m thinking their marketing department will be checking urban dictionary before their next attempt at trying to attract millennials.
