Numbers wise, the 34-year-old is having his worst season since the ’02-03 campaign. Johnson is averaging 11.8 points per game in 33.9 minutes.
However, there’s several playoff teams already pursuing the veteran just in case he does indeed become available.

Just last week, we learned about Cleveland’s interest.
Obviously, Johnson would benefit from playing with LeBron, but what are some other good fits here?
Boston has struggled in late-game situations and with Johnson’s history of making big shots, he would be a natural fit in ‘bean town’.
Also, with Bosh’s status unknown, Johnson could provide another scoring punch in South Beach, while Oklahoma City and Toronto both need a legitimate third scorer.
Nonetheless, this is still a very fluid situation, but we’ll be keeping a very close eye on the latest developments.
