Just when you thought that the Yankees and Red Sox rivalry is dead, the Yankees are looking to add fuel to that fire with this Valentine’s Day tweet.
Are some rivalries in sports dead? I want to believe that it isn’t but we can’t help but think that there’s not as much passion in the hate these teams use to feel for one another. But, just when you think that a rivalry that many of us were fond off, it’s back.
A few baseball clubs didn’t wait a second after the Super Bowl was done yesterday. Some tweeted out that they’re ready for Spring Training while others like the Yankees took a different approach.
There’s a trending hashtag, #BadValentineIn5Words, going around. The Yankees decided to partake in that trending topic by adding their own twist to it and thus, throwing a jab at the Red Sox.

Red Sox Twitter, the ball is in your court. If I may suggest one: But we have 27 rings.
