A nervous looking Ben Simmons began the next step in his career, making his first decision as a professional — announcing his signing with the LeBron James funded — Klutch Sports.
Simmons will now be represented by Rich Paul — and he made the announcement on Bleacher Report’s ‘UNINTERRUPTED.’
Thanks to LeBron James — Paul has risen from unknown obscurity — into one of basketball’s most high-profile agents — with a nice stable of talent that includes James, Eric Bledsoe, Tristan Thompson and John Wall.
Simmons averaged 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game as a freshman, but has been getting crushed in the media for his inability to shoot, not going to class and being unable to lead LSU into the NCAA Tournament.
