Michael Jordan’s shoes have always caused chaos, and today was another example of that. Around 8 A.M. at Eastland Mall in Harper Woods, MI mayhem broke out as customers rushed through the gate to grab the “Vivid Pink” 12 Jordan release. The Customers broke a lock just to break through the store to get the shoe. The Police shut the mall down immediately. At 10 A.M. the mall tried to reopen up but the chaos continued as the police had to shut the mall down once again. Tresa Baldas from Detroit Free Press
“Both times, it was shut down by the police for public safety … all over a tennis shoe,” McClure said. “It’s frustrating. It got unruly, the police shut it down.”
