The news released today by Microsoft will change the gaming world forever.
Everyone has a friend who they aren’t able to play video games against because they prefer one gaming system over another. I’m personally a PS4 type of guy and it seems that all my friends that play Xbox One talk the most trash because they know we can’t play against each other in online play. According to Microsoft, that excuse won’t be good for much longer.

The game ‘Rocket League’ will be the first game available in this cross-network game play. It will be accessible for Xbox One and PC users. Microsoft has extended an offer to Sony in reference to PS4 but there is no word yet on if they will accept. If Sony declines it could possible be because they want the Playstation Network to remain exclusive or because the online play would have some technical issues due to different game speeds and specs. Only time will tell how this unfolds.
