Matt Forte is one of the best running backs in Chicago Bears history, yet the way the organizations discarded the versatile back isn’t sitting well with the newest member of the New York Jets.
Even after he had already decided to depart — the Bears’ aggressive pursuit of Broncos running back C.J. Anderson made Forte feel some type of way.
Me either RT @singinsince3: The way Ryan Pace went after CJ Anderson after not even offering Forte a contract doesnt sit well with me!!

The Bears made no effort to re-sign Forte in the offseason, and went beyond the means to offer Anderson a $19 million deal — despite knowing the Broncos could match.
Forte leads the NFL in yards from scrimmage since 2008, and his 8,602 rushing yards and 4,116 receiving yards during his Bears tenure leaves him behind Walter Payton only in production.
