Carmelo Anthony’s situation is becoming more and more frustrating for him. He’s playing for an under achieving New York Knicks team, he’s forced to try to live up to his huge contract while being the one superstar from the 2003 draft class to not have a championship ring.
During Tuesday’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Bleacher Report, Melo lost his cool and got into a somewhat heated exchange with a heckler.
“He kept calling my name, calling my name, saying, ‘You guys suck, you guys suck,’. “At that point, I was trying to gather myself, and I turned around. All I did was point at Dolan and told him, ‘Look, the owner’s right there. Ask for your money back.’ He’s calling me and telling me he’s never coming to another game and we suck. Just don’t want to hear that. I pointed to the owner and told him, ‘You deal with that with him. Maybe you can get your money back.”
Melo since has apologized for his actions because he was told to do so by the New York Knicks organization.
“We are all frustrated by the team’s recent results—everyone, including me, my teammates, coaches and the fans. Last night, a fan and I let those frustrations get the best of us. I should not have responded the way I did.”
The real reason behind the apology is because of a prior lawsuit.

Might be a good thing Melo decided to apologize, he nor the Knicks need anymore frustrations.
