Today is the equivalent of Christmas for college basketball junkies.
Every year there are teams who are snubbed a ticket to the ‘big dance’, while other programs get in just based off name value (money makers).
In this year’s bracket, programs such as Monmouth, Valpo and San Diego State will be feeling salty tonight. On the other hand, people will be questioning the selections of Syracuse and Tulsa.
Here’s a look at the full bracket:

When analyzing the bracket, one of the first things you want to look at is potential cinderella’s. As we dissect the bracket, let’s look at the most likely upsets during the first weekend.
South Region: Hawaii over California
For most of the first half of the season, the California Bears were looked at as underachievers. However, as the season went on, the Bears have seemed to figure things out. Having said that, we’re still not sure which Cal team we’re going to get and Hawaii quietly has a record of (27-5). Grant it, the Warriors haven’t played the best competition in the world, but the fact they’re used to winning could go a long way.
