The NFL is all about big business and the brand — so it shouldn’t be a surprise that league officials had no interest in getting caught up in the steam roll that is the NBA playoffs.
Hoping to hostage a Thursday night like it was September or October — the NFL just announced that the release of the 2016 regular season schedule has been bumped up a week to Thursday in primetime.
As only the NFL can do — the show will be a three-hour bonanza.
