Looks like things are going from bad to worse for Johnny Football. According to CBS Sports, the former Cleveland Browns quarterback and lightning rod for controversy was indicted by a Dallas grand jury in the assault of his former girlfriend Colleen Crowley in late January.
The past few months for Manziel have not been the best by any stretch of the imagination. Not only does he have this latest charge against him, but he’s been fired by two agents, lost his job and he has been accused of causing over $30,000 worth of damage to a Los Angeles rental house.
Jim Darnell, the primary attorney for Manziel, said that his client will plead not guilty to the charges.
