Every year, the offseason seems to move faster than the one before. I’m not complaining, but yesterday felt like the Super Bowl. The offseason has been littered with sad stories of athletes partying their way out of the NFL as well as a lot of young stars hanging it up early- namely Calvin Johnson.
Soon, we won’t even remember those stories as the schedule was released today and that gave us all of the supplies to begin painting the picture of the 2016-17 NFL season. Let’s take a look at the games top 10 games I will be paying the most attention to:
Week 1 probably should be all about the Super Bowl rematch between Denver and Carolina, but in typical NFC East fashion, the Cowboys and Giants will steal the show in the NFL’s opening weekend. Last year’s epic comeback was one of the best games all year long, though neither team really did anything the rest of the year, it still set the tone for a great NFL season. Tony Romo’s return from injury and Eli Manning’s first season without Tom Coughlin all add spice to an already flavorful matchup.
