Anytime Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys do something, they do it big. Their newest venture is no different. According to the Sporting News, the Dallas Cowboys new headquarters, aptly dubbed “The Star”, just may be their most extravagant vision to date.
For starters, the price tag on it, an extraordinary $1.5 billion. Back in 2008, AT&T Stadium was built for $1.3 billion, in comparison.
The features found in The Star, are the actual stars of the show, no pun intended. There’s a hotel, event center, a 200,000 square foot sports medicine facility and a state of the art War Room, which features an interactive video wall.
High school football is also a huge part of the attraction for The Star. The city of Frisco, Texas and its school district are funding $90 million to the facility. As part owners, they will be able to host football games on Friday nights.
Here’s a video detailing the amenities of The Star.
