Chris Brown has had a lot of up and down moments through his career, but now he has another reason to be extremely happy. Brown was in court Tuesday for a custody battle with his daughter’s mother Nia Guzman when the judge ruled in his favor.
Guzman claimed that Brown was unfit to care for their daughter without supervision because of an alleged drug use, and gang affiliation. According to TMZ she wanted his visitation rights to be reduced or at least be monitored. Fortunately for Chris the judge went in his favor.
The judge mandated that both parents continue to share joint custody. Chris will also receive 12 days of unmonitored visitation rights per month.
Guzman who is receiving $2,500 a month in child support is still looking to increase that amount to at least $16k which does seem to be quite a chunk for a child. There has not been a ruling on that decision, but at least for now Chris can enjoy time with his daughter without supervision.
