A high-ranking NYPD chief is in some potentially hot water, following accusations of inappropriate work relations with subordinates, and harassment.
Jeffrey Maddrey, head of the NYPD’s Patrol Borough Brooklyn North, is being called out by former NYPD officer, Tabatha Foster, for sleeping around the department with pregnant, married officers, and using his influence to get Foster’s ex-husband (also a former NYPD officer) fired.
Apparently, Foster had enough of Maddrey’s alleged activity and decided to go public on her Facebook page with the following:
Another post seems to further explain why Foster is doing all of this. She also seemed to share a relationship of some sort with Maddrey:
Sources close to the situation told the NY Daily News Foster was upset when (married) Maddrey was too busy to spend time with her. The source also sent photos of text messages exchanged between the two, showing Maddrey being the one fielding plenty of harassment, and even death threats from Foster.
Foster, 40; retired from duty in 2013 after suffering a stroke, and is said to be working on her music/modeling career.
Maddrey met with investigators Thursday, and remains on full duty.
