Here is another case of an ex-athlete being one of the world’s dumbest criminals.
A two-time Stanley Cup champion hockey player from Massachusetts has been charged in federal court with conspiring to sell oxycodone in the state.
Former Pittsburgh Penguins player Kevin Stevens, 51, and his co-defendant Christopher Alonardo were charged Thursday with conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute the opioid pain medication last fall.
Stevens played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League, winning two consecutive Stanley Cups in 1991 and 1992.
We will see how much jail time he gets.
