The New York Knicks are still far from what many expected after Phil Jackson took over the reigns as the GM. Phil has been struggling trying to put the right collection of players together along with the right coach. It must have been pretty exhausting because according to Ian Begley of ESPN Phil Jackson has put everything on hold one particular reason.
“Jackson is on Vacation at the moment. The interesting thing here is that league sources say that some involved in the Knicks’ coaching search have been informed that Phil is away at the moment, meaning the search is on hold.”
Phil also decided to post pictures to show the world what he was doing with his free time.

The season is still going on, but for a man who is making around $12 million per year to make basketball decisions this would be the last thing some Knicks fans would want to see. Some could argue that the Knicks have been so bad under Phil Jackson so far that he’s already been on vacation the past two seasons.
Maybe Phil Jackson has a master plan up his sleeve that we don’t know about. I’m sure patience is growing thin by the minute in New York, and this certainly doesn’t help.
