The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday night, shocking a ton of basketball fans.
The Thunder have been one of the surprise teams of this year’s NBA Playoffs. When many had them not getting past the second round, OKC has surprised everyone in reaching the conference finals after dominating the San Antonio Spurs.
The Thunder have a 1-0 series lead versus the Warriors, but it doesn’t give Kevin Durant any reason to celebrate. KD explained why he didn’t show much emotion following OKC’s huge win.
Durant on the lack of celebration after winning Game 1: "I mean, what's to celebrate? We didn't win a championship."

Durant echoed a similar saying after the Thunder eliminated the Spurs in Game 6: “This wasn’t our championship.”
These comments definitely show some maturity from KD. These comments definitely show he’s a man on a mission this year.
