At Wednesday night’s 7th annual “Big Fighters, Big Cause” Charity Boxing Night Benefiting the Sugar Ray Leonard foundation, Magic Johnson made an appearance on the red carpet and was clear he has no desire to see any sort of match-up involving “retired” champion Floyd Mayweather and UFC champion Conor McGregor.
When asked about the potential for a fight, Johnson pulled no punches saying he “wasn’t into that” and wanted to see Mayweather fight a “real” fighter like “GGG” aka middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.
He didn’t want to talk about his Dodgers but they are doing well, currently ranked 2nd in National League West behind the San Francisco Giants. Golovkin recently through out the first pitch for the Dodgers. Let’s make it happen Magic Man!
