On Tuesday night, CASA of Los Angeles held their 3rd Annual Evening to Foster Dreams Gala fundraising dinner at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Each year the star studded event is held to honor community leaders who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to children, including children who have been abused or neglected and are in foster care.
With organized sports playing a vital part in the development of youth worldwide, a number of professional athletes were on hand to lend their support to CASA. Los Angeles Rams punter Johnny Hekker, who was in attendance, took a few minutes on the red carpet to chat with BSO about the the Rams upcoming move to the Los Angeles Coliseum for the 2017 season, the formal move to Inglewood during the 2019 season and it’s impact on the surrounding area, and the organization’s excitement to act not only as a source of jobs and city-wide revenue for Inglewood but the opportunity to function as pillars of the community. Plus Hekker offers words of advice for the freshman class, gives his take on the Rams newest quarterback, rookie Jared Goff, and gives his prediction for the NBA finals.
