Ever since middle school, top freshman Josh Jackson has been scouted.
Whenever your name gets any traction, it doesn’t matter how young you are in today’s age of AAU basketball, you will be looked at by collegiate coaches and scouts alike.
However, the newest Kansas Jayhawk doesn’t believe in the process when it comes to his particular game.
“I hate to sound cocky,’’ he said, “but I think I’m unscoutable. I don’t think I can be scouted. Even when I’m not scoring, or putting up a bunch of points, I’m either playing defense, rebounding or finding open teammates. I’m always impacting the game in some way.’’
With comparisons to Andrew Wiggins, Jackson just heightened the pressure a little bit more, but he seems willing to embrace it.
