Ex-NBA All-Star Brandon Roy has found a new career in coaching high school basketball. Roy will take over as head coach of Nathan Hale High School in Seattle. Seattle Public Schools executive director of athletics Eric McCurdy had this to say about Brandon Roy.
“I know B-Roy wants to coach and he wants to give back to the district. What better way to start than in the Seattle Public Schools system, where he played in the league.”
Roy’s playing career was cut short due to degenerative knee condition. Good to see that his love for the game will help inspire Seattle youth.
Brandon Roy was a incredible player.
