The Thunder have themselves protected by trading for Victor Oladipo and will use the extra cap space to hopefully sign Russell Westbrook to an extension. As for the Heat, this is a quick fix for them since they weren’t able to sign Dwayne Wade after he left for his hometown Bulls due to his unhappiness with contract negotiations.
